Lactic Acid Found naturally in our skin, lactic acid helps to balance our skin pH. When we have acne, our skin shifts to alkaline pH. Bacteria thrives in alkaline pH. Our cleanser helps to shift pH back to the acidic range, helping to prevent bacterial growth. Hydrolyzed Whey Protein / Lactoserum Derived from cow’s milk, this protein helps to maintain acidity of our skin longer. Plants-derived Surfactants (Sulfate free) Using a blend of sulfate-free surfactants derived from plants, Calming Cleanser is able to cleanse throughly and gently without drying the skin. Olive-derived Moisturising Agent Derived from olive, it protects the skin from possible irritation from surfactants. Soothes and soften skin while increasing the moisture levels in the skin. How to Use: Wet face. Apply a coin size of product over face with fingertips directly. Massage and rinse with water. How Calming Cleanser was developed Calming Cleanser was first learnt from a dermatologist that helped Jasmine clear her 14 years of acne. Over the years, Calming Cleanser went through a few rounds of formulation changes, including removing sulfates. The current formulation is the best version that has been produced. In one of the past formulation, we added in tea tree oil. Tea tree oil is suppose to help with acne skin but instead, a small percentage of our regulars who had no issues with our past versions started breaking out. It was then that we decided that Skinlycious would be Essential Oil free.
